Lucy was cast in Alethea Harnish’s senior thesis at Columbia University. Lucy and Alethea have been working together as artistic collaborators for the last thirteen years having grown up in Indianapolis and finding their ways to New York.

The piece was a culmination of Alethea’s research and time in the Religions Department and was primarily focused on how early explorations surrounding quantum physics in the 1960’s shaped the world as we know it today. Written and directed by Alethea, the play was also semi-devised by incorporating free form movement to inform blocking and improvisational rehearsals to build character connections. The intensive rehearsal process culminated in a weekend of performances out of Glicker-Milstein Theatre in the Diana Center.
